Introduction 

Motto of NSS

     NSS i.e National Service Scheme is a social service program which is mostly carried out in colleges with an intention to impart the notions of generosity, helpfullness, kindness ,etc. by doing social service and also to make students capable of surviving in limited supply of resources (through camps). All these activities in NSS are carried by students under the supervision of  teachers.

     Likewise, The Motto of NSS  "NOT ME BUT YOU" portrays the message of duty towards other people before duty to our own selves , it promotes the message of selflessness and kindness as the world now is falling short for being generous, helpful and merciful.

     NSS helps students to change their attitude towards society , poor people , social taboos, etc. The idea of starting NSS in colleges is trying to impart all these notions above in students so that the roots are firm and the individuals would grow with a different and a good attitude towards people and circumstances. Also these messages are spread through various modes to the mob by street plays ,various competitions, etc. NSS strives to make changes from the students to the society.
